This week, the Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven staff had the distinct privilege of visiting the Connecticut State Capitol. Their visit was not just a routine affair; it was a celebration of Adult Education & Family Literacy Week, a time dedicated to recognizing the incredible impact of adult education programs on our society.
From September 18th to September 22nd, communities across the nation came together to acknowledge the transformative power of literacy, and the staff of the Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven did just that in their visit to the Capitol.
