NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK
April 16 – 22, 2023
National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society’s greatest challenges, to build stronger communities and be a force that makes a difference in their communities and the world.
At Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven, this is indeed a very special week as it is the time for recognizing the work of our valuable volunteers: tutors, board members, office staff and fundraisers.
Our New Haven office at 5 Science Park celebrated all week long with breakfast and special tote bags. We also enjoyed a special time with our Valley tutors!
We recognize that the value of our joint efforts as well as quality of services and tutoring provided–all through the work of over 150 Volunteers–are making a significant difference.
We are most appreciative of your valuable service to Literacy Volunteers and for being our “Partners in Literacy”!
