It’s never too late to improve your reading and English communication (speaking and understanding) or math skills.

Adults who would like to be tutored at Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven must be over the age of 18. From beginner to advanced skill levels, our adult literacy classes offer flexible days and times to fit many different needs. All classes are free.

Literacy Volunteers offers three types of classes:  Basic Literacy, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Math.
